India, Sept. 30 -- Tamil Nadu YouTuber Felix Gerald, who runs the RedPix channel, has been arrested by the Cyber Crime Police for allegedly spreading fake news related to the Karur stampede that claimed 41 lives during actor-turned-politician Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) campaign.

Authorities said Gerald uploaded misleading content linked to the tragedy, prompting action. Meanwhile, Chennai Police have booked 25 others for allegedly posting inflammatory material on social media about the incident. Officials stated the content could disturb public peace and inflame tensions.

Separately, TVK's Karur district secretary Mathiazhagan was arrested and named the prime accused in the FIR, alongside two other party office-bearers. Polic...
