Goa, July 31 -- The Executive Engineer (EE) of the Electricity Department, Uday Kudalkar, met Yuva Forward Goa State President Meshu D'Costa and linemen staging a dharna outside the Sanguem Electricity Department office on Friday, protesting the suspension of three workers following the Xelpem electrocution incident.

The protesters alleged that the suspended employees were innocent and had no role in the incident. During the meeting, Kudalkar assured the gathering that the department would make efforts to revoke the suspension orders, stating that the three workers were not present at the site of the accident and had been assigned to other duties at the time.
