India, Feb. 14 -- A shocking incident in Bathinda, Punjab, has left a community in grief after two minor siblings reportedly died due to poisoning. Police arrested their mother, Jassi Kaur, who allegedly gave the children food containing rat poison.
The tragedy began 15 days ago with the death of eight-year-old Sukhpreet Kaur, followed by her six-year-old brother, Fatehveer, on Friday night. Villagers, suspicious of the circumstances, approached the Phool police station on Saturday, demanding a full investigation.
