Goa, May 5 -- Actor-turned-politician Joseph Vijay has delivered a strong debut in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026, with his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) emerging as the single largest party in the state. As per the final numbers, TVK has won 108 seats in the 234-member Assembly.

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) secured 59 seats, while the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) finished with 47 seats. The Indian National Congress (INC) managed 5 seats, and the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) won 4 seats.
