Goa, June 30 -- One of the biggest questions surrounding GTA 6 has been whether the game will run at 60 FPS on current-generation consoles. While recent retailer leaks suggested Rockstar Games could introduce a performance mode, a new analysis from Digital Foundry indicates that players should not expect 60 FPS at launch.

According to the report, GTA 6 is likely to be capped at 30 FPS across consoles, including the more powerful PS5 Pro. The analysts explain that the limitation is not related to graphics performance but to the CPU. GTA 6 is expected to feature a massive open world filled with advanced AI, dense traffic, interactive NPCs and complex real-time simulations, all of which place significant demands on the processor.
