Goa, April 16 -- Tension gripped Ugave village after an early morning sighting of a wild animal near the residence of Sarpanch Subodh Mahale, sparking fear among locals.

According to residents, the repeated presence of the animal in the area has caused concern among villagers and farmers, who fear for their safety and livestock. The situation has reportedly persisted for several months without effective intervention.

Villagers from Ugave, Mopa, and Tamboxem have expressed frustration over the alleged inaction of the Forest Department, claiming that complaints have gone unanswered for nearly a year.
