Why Zimbabwe Has Become India's Favourite Venue for T20I Debuts
Goa, July 23 -- India's tour of Zimbabwe has become synonymous with fresh starts, serving as the preferred stage for introducing new talent in T20 internationals. Ahead of the three-match T20I series in Harare, four uncapped players could continue that tradition.
Since 2010, India have handed T20I debuts to 22 players against Zimbabwe, using the bilateral series to test emerging stars rather than fielding full-strength squads. The trend began in 2010 when Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin and Naman Ojha debuted in the opening match, while Amit Mishra earned his first cap later in the series.
