Goa, Aug. 9 -- Why has the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) not yet confirmed India's proposed tour of Bangladesh despite continued communication between the two cricket boards? The major hurdle appears to be government clearance, which is yet to be granted.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been making efforts to host the Indian team for the long-delayed men's cricket tour. The two boards remain in regular contact, but there is still no confirmation from the BCCI regarding whether the series will go ahead.
