Goa, Aug. 6 -- Former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal has been convicted by the Bombay High Court in the 2013 Goa rape case, overturning his acquittal by a trial court in 2021. The High Court found the 63-year-old journalist guilty of raping a junior colleague during an event at a five-star hotel in Goa in November 2013. He was earlier acquitted of charges including rape, sexual harassment and wrongful restraint, but the Goa government challenged that verdict.
