Goa, May 28 -- The much-anticipated IPO of SpaceX could turn Goa-origin investor Antonio Gracias into one of the wealthiest individuals connected to the global space industry. Reports suggest that if SpaceX goes public in the coming years, Gracias could earn billions due to his early investments and close association with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.

According to media reports, Gracias currently controls nearly 7.3 percent of SpaceX through investment giant Valor Equity Partners. With SpaceX already valued among the world's most powerful private companies, the upcoming IPO is expected to create enormous wealth for early backers.
