Goa, Aug. 18 -- A shocking double murder in Bengaluru has come to light after a woman and her alleged lover were arrested for the deaths of her 38-year-old husband and their five-year-old son.

According to police, the accused woman, Harini, and her boyfriend, Vinay, allegedly planned the killings because they believed her husband, Abhinandan, was preventing them from continuing their relationship. Police suspect that Harini wanted a divorce so she could start a life with Vinay.

The incident unfolded at the family's home, where Abhinandan and his young son were spending an ordinary evening watching television.
