Goa, Oct. 16 -- Goa Minister Vishwajit Rane has emphasized the importance of grounded leadership, stating that anyone can become a leader but must exercise humility and accountability.
Reflecting on his own experiences, Rane cited an incident during the IIT agitation when he had transferred a woman who had criticized him. He later admitted his mistake and personally apologized to her, highlighting the need for ministers to accept criticism in a positive spirit.
"There is a higher power that can lift you up, but it can also bring you down the moment you cross your limits," Rane said. He added that being a minister does not mean knowing everything and that leaders should be willing to admit mistakes and apologize sincerely to the public....
