Goa, July 22 -- Students of Viscount of Pernem High School delivered an impressive performance at the All Goa Rapid Chess and Pedne Taluka Chess Tournament, organised by the Pedne Taluka Chess Association at Din Dayal Hall, Mandrem.

A total of 10 students from the school participated in the tournament, with several securing notable achievements. Mast. Samarth Yogesh Kavthankar claimed third place in the Under-11 Boys category, while Ms. Karishma Devidas Gawandi emerged as the Pedne Taluka champion and also secured second place in the All Goa Rapid Chess Tournament.

The students were coached by Mrs. Bindiya Kotkar Gawas, whose guidance contributed to their commendable performances.
