Goa, Sept. 18 -- Goa Forward Party (GFP) president and MLA Vijai Sardesai said that the wishes of the people of Goa would ultimately prevail, while stating that he was aware of the sentiments among the public.

Responding to a question about Congress leader Girish Chodankar, Sardesai declined to comment directly on him.

"I will not say anything about Girish Chodankar. Girish is my voter, and I want his vote," Sardesai said.

His remarks came while addressing questions on the prevailing political sentiments in Goa.
