Goa, July 18 -- Goa Forward Party (GFP) chief Vijai Sardesai has dedicated his recent international honour to the people of Goa, saying the recognition belongs to every Goan. Speaking to reporters after arriving at Goa International Airport late on Friday night, Sardesai said the award strengthens his commitment to champion issues affecting Goans across the world.

The GFP leader reiterated that if his party is voted to power, it will work towards securing dual citizenship and special status for the Goan diaspora. He said the party has consistently advocated for the rights and welfare of Goans living overseas, particularly those based in London.
