Goa, Aug. 14 -- Verna Police have registered a case against Hana Traders proprietor Abdul Kalam for allegedly misappropriating 10,969 kg of HDPE material entrusted to him by BLS Polymers Ltd.

According to the complaint, the material, valued at approximately Rs.7.15 lakh, was handed over to Kalam for processing. However, the company has alleged that the HDPE material was neither processed nor returned as required.

The alleged failure to account for the material resulted in an estimated wrongful loss of Rs.8.94 lakh to BLS Polymers Ltd., police said.

Verna Police have registered the case and are conducting further investigations into the alleged misappropriation and the circumstances surrounding the missing material.
