Goa, Oct. 28 -- Shop owners from the New Market on Tuesday met Margao Municipal Council (MMC) Chief Officer Madhu Narvekar and City Officer to raise concerns over vendors occupying space outside the market premises and along the footpath. The traders said that these vendors were blocking access to the market, discouraging customers from entering and severely affecting their business.
Following the complaint, MMC Chief Officer Madhu Narvekar conducted an inspection of the area and immediately cleared vendors encroaching on the footpath.
