Goa, May 9 -- The government formation process in Tamil Nadu took another dramatic turn on Saturday as the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) decided to extend support to actor-politician C. Joseph Vijay and his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), according to senior party sources.

VCK president Thol. Thirumavalavan is expected to formally announce the party's backing shortly, ending days of speculation over its stand. The VCK currently holds two Assembly seats, strengthening TVK's position amid the ongoing political uncertainty in the State.
