The actor has visited Goa quite a few times. "It was his birthday, and yes, he has visited our restaurant many times previously as well," said Neville Proenca, owner of the restaurant. He added, "The actor is very fond of my dog 'Chai'." Known for his love of Goan flavours, Varun Dhawan went all out this time, digging into a spread of crabs, lobster, and Chicken Cafreal. Keeping things equally delightful for his wife, who is vegetarian, Neville curated a special menu featuring peri-peri veggies, mushrooms, coriander, a stir-fry of potatoes with pumpkin rice, and a fresh salad, rounded off with gulab jamun and a refreshing watermelon salad. The actor is soaking in a few laid-back days in Goa.
