Goa, July 4 -- Goa continued to receive widespread rainfall over the past 24 hours, with Valpoi recording the highest rainfall of 66.4 mm, according to the latest data released by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Meteorological Centre Goa. The rainfall was recorded between 8:30 a.m. on July 3 and 8:30 a.m. on July 4, 2026.

Apart from Valpoi, Sankhali received 44.6 mm, while Dharbandora recorded 38.3 mm. Moderate rainfall was also reported in Sanguem (33.3 mm) and Quepem (28.0 mm), reflecting active monsoon conditions across the state.

The IMD classified the rainfall activity across Goa as "widespread (most places)" and stated that the monsoon activity remained normal during the period.
