Goa, May 12 -- A doctor attached to Valpoi Community Health Centre has been suspended following allegations of negligence in the treatment of an 11-year-old boy from Maloli.

According to reports, Dr. Yavanti Gawde was suspended after concerns were raised regarding the medical treatment provided to the minor patient.

The incident has sparked concern among local residents, prompting authorities to initiate action in the matter. Further inquiry into the alleged negligence is expected to be conducted by the concerned health authorities.
