Goa, Oct. 5 -- A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his one-year-old son to death while in an inebriated state, police said on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Saturday night in Suremanpur village, Bairia, when Rupesh Tiwari allegedly attacked his son Kinu with a sharp-edged weapon, a police officer reported. Kinu succumbed to his injuries while being taken for treatment. Police reached the scene after receiving information and sent the body for postmortem, said Circle Officer (CO) Bairia, Mohammad Fahim Qureshi.
