Goa, Oct. 27 -- Goa has experienced unexpected post-monsoon showers over the last two days, with the state recording nearly 300 mm of rainfall since October 1. Normally, October sees minimal rainfall, but this unusual spell has been attributed to a depression over the Arabian Sea coupled with a cyclonic circulation over Andhra Pradesh. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rainfall may continue at isolated places in the coming days, accompanied by thunderstorms and wind speeds ranging from 30-40 kmph, gusting up to 50 kmph, over the next three days.
