India, March 28 -- Residents of Mawati have raised serious concerns over the deteriorating condition of a bridge constructed by the Water Resources Department over the Salaulim canal, which serves as the only access route to the village.

Locals allege that the bridge lacks safety railings on both sides, posing a significant risk to commuters. While villagers have attempted temporary fixes by filling potholes with soil, they say the structure remains fragile and could collapse at any time.
