Goa, Sept. 15 -- Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the Rs.825 crore Veer Savarkar Sports Complex at Naranpura, Ahmedabad, and dedicated it to the nation. The event was attended by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, Union Sports Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Sports Shri Harsh Sanghavi, and Mayor Smt Pratibha Jain.

Shri Amit Shah described sports as the soul of India and emphasized that, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the sector has undergone major reforms, including world-class infrastructure, transparent selections, and international opportunities for top athletes.
