Goa, June 17 -- An attempted burglary at a locked ancestral house near Datta Temple in Dattawadi, Mapusa, has prompted a police investigation. The incident was discovered when a housekeeping staff member arrived to clean the residence and found the main door lock broken.

The property owner later inspected the house and noticed damage to an internal door, with several household items found scattered across the premises. Despite signs of forced entry and disturbance inside the house, preliminary checks indicated that no valuables were missing.
