Goa, April 19 -- Two citizens of the United States were detained at Srinagar Airport after security personnel recovered a satellite communicator and a GPS device from their luggage during routine screening, officials said.

The incident took place in Srinagar, where airport security flagged suspicious electronic items during a standard baggage check. The primary traveller was identified as Jeffry Scott Prather. He was immediately detained along with a fellow traveller, who is reported to be a US citizen of Indian origin.
