Goa, July 31 -- A tragic road accident on Saligao road early Wednesday claimed the lives of two young men and left two others critically injured following a collision between two two-wheelers.

The deceased have been identified as Omkar Karapurkar (25), a resident of Madel-Thivim, and Mohammad Fraz (30), a native of Assam. Both were declared dead at the scene due to the severity of the impact.

The accident occurred under unclear circumstances, and authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the collision. The two surviving individuals, who sustained serious injuries, were rushed to a nearby hospital and remain under critical care.
