Goa, Nov. 17 -- Collem Police have registered a case against Rizwan Noorhamed Maldar and Shahid Gudusab Shindodi after they were allegedly caught red-handed transporting 1,000 kilograms of beef at Mollem without the required documentation.

According to police sources, the meat was reportedly brought in from Kittur, Karnataka, and was being moved through the area when officers intercepted the vehicle. Both accused reportedly failed to produce valid permits or transport papers during the inspection.

The consignment was seized, and further investigation is underway to determine the source of the meat and whether the accused are linked to a larger illegal transport network.
