Goa, Nov. 3 -- A devastating tragedy happened on the Hyderabad-Bijapur Highway on Monday morning, claiming 19 lives and shattering multiple families. Among the victims was Yellaiah Goud, a driver who lost his three daughters, Tanusha, Sai Priya, and Nandini, all college students in Hyderabad. The girls had returned home to attend a wedding in Tandur after recently celebrating their elder sister Anusha's marriage.

"I asked them not to come," Goud said through tears. "Someone warned the bus wasn't in good condition. Still, I sent them. I've lost not one, but three daughters."

The head-on collision with a gravel-laden truck near Chevella crushed vehicles and lives alike, leaving the community in grief.
