Goa, Oct. 24 -- The Porvorim Traffic Police conducted a special alcohol testing drive at the O Coqueiro Junction on Saturday night. During the drive, police personnel checked drivers for drunk driving using breath analyzers. The drive was conducted to ensure road safety and to prevent accidents due to driving under the influence of alcohol. The Traffic Police have appealed to all motorists to not drink and drive, to wear seat belts while driving four-wheelers and helmets while riding two-wheelers, and to follow all traffic rules for their own safety and the safety of others. Police said that such checking drives will continue in the coming days at various locations in Porvorim.
