Goa, Aug. 22 -- The Additional Collector of South Goa recently chaired a meeting to review plans for the closure and traffic diversion required for the strengthening and rehabilitation of the existing Borim bridge. The meeting resulted in directions being issued to the National Highways Authority to formally notify the road closure and diversion plan.

The closure and diversion are scheduled to take effect after September 10, 2025, to allow for comprehensive repair works necessary to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the Borim bridge.
