India, Sept. 30 -- The Goa Tourism Department has issued a directive requiring all hoteliers, guesthouse operators, and other accommodation providers, including Airbnb hosts-to comply with the TIME (Tourists Information Management Enterprise) software for monthly data submissions and C-Form filing for foreign tourists.
The department stressed that accurate data submission is mandatory, warning that failure to comply could attract fines, sanctions, or even suspension of operating licenses under Rule 17 of the Goa Registration of Tourist Trade (Amendment) Rules, 2022. Officials said that the TIME software is a critical tool for monitoring tourist inflows, ensuring compliance, and streamlining reporting for authorities.
