Goa, Dec. 12 -- In a stunning development that has sent shockwaves through Madhya Pradesh's law enforcement system, the Malhargarh police station-recently ranked ninth among the country's top police stations-has been accused of orchestrating a fabricated drug smuggling case after allegedly kidnapping an innocent student.
The High Court, while hearing the matter, uncovered damning evidence indicating that police personnel forcibly took 18-year-old Sohan, a Class 12 student from Malhargarh, off a moving bus on August 29. Despite having no criminal links, he was later produced as a "major narcotics arrest."
