Three-and-a-half-year-old Sidhant Ferrao's successful crossing of the Mandovi River has become a proud moment for Goa's swimming community. Completing the swim in 1 hour and 25 minutes under the guidance of coach Sagar Dayanand, the young swimmer impressed many with his determination and calmness at such a young age. But for the Ferrao family, the achievement means something much bigger than an open-water swim.
