Goa, Aug. 14 -- A Tamil Nadu all-rounder has been barred from playing the remainder of the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) after breaching anti-corruption protocols. The player, who made his Ranji Trophy debut last season, was reportedly found with an undeclared mobile phone inside the Player and Match Officials Area (PMOA).

The incident took place on August 10 at the NPR College ground in Natham, Dindigul. The BCCI's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) recovered the phone and conducted a probe before reporting the matter to the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).
