Goa, Oct. 27 -- The BJP government's much-publicised promise of financial assistance to purchase three LPG cylinders has left several beneficiaries waiting for the promised funds, even as some people have reportedly received the amount while others are yet to see the money credited to their bank accounts. Beneficiaries had submitted their application forms to their respective panchayats, with the government promising to release the funds before Ganesh Chaturthi. However, many are still waiting for the assistance to materialise. When Herald TV contacted several women beneficiaries, many declined to comment on whether they had received the money, fearing that speaking about the matter could affect their assistance.
