Goa, Aug. 7 -- Mandrem Police have arrested two foreign nationals for allegedly residing illegally in Goa without valid travel documents in separate cases.

The accused have been identified as Thai national Itsaraporn Phannakhen (38) and Russian national Denis Fominov (41).

According to the police, Itsaraporn Phannakhen was found staying at a resort in Ashwem without a valid visa, while Denis Fominov was allegedly residing in Mandrem without a valid passport or visa.

Separate cases have been registered against the two foreign nationals under Section 23(a) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
