Goa, May 14 -- The Town and Country Planning Department has withdrawn the technical clearance earlier granted to fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani for a proposed residential project at Salvador do Mundo.

The clearance had been issued for the proposed construction of a residential house, staff quarters, swimming pool and compound wall at property bearing Survey No. 292/1-L-7 of Salvador do Mundo village.

Officials stated that the technical clearance issued for the project has now been revoked by the TCP department. However, further details regarding the reasons behind the withdrawal were not immediately available.
