Taxi Catches Fire on Mapusa-Parra Road Near Ganpati Temple, Tourists Escape Unhurt
Goa, June 24 -- A taxi caught fire near Ganpati Temple on the Mapusa-Parra Road on Tuesday, causing panic among motorists and passersby in the area.
According to reports, two tourists were travelling in the vehicle when the fire broke out. The occupants managed to exit the taxi safely before the flames spread, preventing any injuries.
The blaze quickly engulfed the vehicle, resulting in extensive damage to the taxi. Local residents and emergency responders rushed to the scene to assist and bring the situation under control.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances that led to the vehicle catching fire.
