Tar Shortage Delays Road Hot-Mixing in Goa; CM Sawant Directs Use of Premix to Fill Potholes
Goa, June 3 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that road hot-mixing works across the state have been delayed due to a shortage of tar.
Addressing the issue, the Chief Minister stated that he has directed concerned officials to use premix material as a temporary measure to repair roads and fill potholes until adequate supplies of tar become available.
Sawant acknowledged the inconvenience caused to commuters and stressed that the government is taking steps to ensure that road maintenance work continues despite the shortage.
