Residents of Talsai village on Sunday rejected reports claiming their drinking water crisis had been resolved, insisting that the problem persists despite recent inspections by authorities. The issue, highlighted by O Heraldo, prompted offi cials to inspect the village's water sources. Villagers said the Deputy Collector had advised residents not to consume the water or give it to animals due to safety con cerns. They therefore con demned media reports sug gesting the water was safe and the crisis had ended.
