Taj Mahal Replica House in Burhanpur: Inside Anand Prakash Chouksey's Grand Tribute to His Wife
Goa, Aug. 14 -- A replica of the Taj Mahal in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, has once again captured attention online, thanks to a recent video offering a glimpse inside the unusual home. Built by businessman Anand Prakash Chouksey, the property was created as a symbol of his love for his wife and draws heavily from the design of the iconic monument in Agra.
Chouksey began work on the house in 2021 in his hometown of Burhanpur, located around 800 kilometres from Agra. The idea was inspired by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, who commissioned the original Taj Mahal as a monument to his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
