Goa, Aug. 28 -- A suspected bike thief allegedly died after being beaten by a mob of more than 50 people in Colva, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been established, according to police.

Maina-Curtorim Police have not yet registered an FIR, with the process currently underway as officials gather information about the incident.

Police are investigating the incident and collecting further details to establish what led to the alleged mob assault and the subsequent death.
