Goa, Oct. 18 -- Sudesh Mayekar has openly challenged MLA Michael Lobo and Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira over multiple ongoing constructions in Calangute that reportedly exceed 150 FAR under the ODP 2030 guidelines.

Calling their actions "mere eyewash" designed to protect personal interests, Mayekar remarked, "Destroyers can't be protectors," questioning the commitment of the local leaders to safeguard community interests.

The statement comes amid growing concerns over unchecked development in the area, with residents and activists urging stricter enforcement of planning regulations to prevent further violations.
