Goa, June 12 -- Motorists travelling along the busy Amona-Khandola-Marcel road have raised concerns over the increasing presence of stray cattle occupying the carriageway, posing a serious threat to road safety. Several commuters have reported spotting buffaloes and cows resting on the road shoulder and, at times, in the middle of the stretch during both day and night hours. The route witnesses heavy movement of private vehicles, trucks and two-wheelers, making the situation particularly dangerous. Residents fear that poor visibility after dark could lead to serious accidents involving unsuspecting motorists.
