Goa, June 7 -- Stagnant water has collected at the entrance of the Panjim ferry wharf with the arrival of the monsoon, creating conditions favourable for mosquito breeding. The waterlogged stretch, coupled with floating waste and debris, has raised concerns among commuters and nearby residents over hygiene and public health. Locals fear that the situation could contribute to the spread of vector-borne diseases if not addressed promptly.
