Goa, Aug. 21 -- The recent brazen assaults on police personnel that exposed the vulnerability of the very force meant to uphold security have drawn flak from activists, who have termed these incidents as 'intolerable' and have demanded swift and strong justice to ensure no one dares to raise a hand against the guardians of law.

It is pertinent to note that police officers were assaulted in three separate cases reported in Vasco, Fatorda, and Cuncolim jurisdictions. The incidents have raised alarm over the growing trend of aggression and hostility towards law enforcement officers in the State.
