Goa, Sept. 25 -- Road accidents in South Goa have registered a notable decline this year, marking an encouraging trend in road safety across the district. According to official data, South Goa recorded 72 fewer accidents compared to last year, translating to a reduction of 8.22 percent. Fatal accidents too witnessed a downward trend, with 19 fewer fatal crash cases and 22 fewer fatalities reported, underlining the effectiveness of enforcement and awareness measures introduced in recent months.
