Goa, July 24 -- The South Goa Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has intensified its food safety enforcement, imposing a Rs.30,000 fine on a milk supplier, seizing 20 kg of unlabelled paneer, and penalising seven food business operators during inspections carried out in Salcete and Ramdamol.

During the inspection drive, officials fined a milk supplier Rs.30,000 for violating food safety norms. The team also seized 20 kg of paneer that lacked the mandatory labelling requirements, preventing the product from being sold to consumers.

In addition, seven food business operators were collectively fined Rs.14,000 for various violations detected during the inspections.
